Base St. John’s School & College – dual site
Working Pattern 5 days a week: 8.30 – 14.30 32 days holiday per annum + 8 days public holidays – pro rata
Ideally holidays to be taken during School & College closure periods
Salary St. John’s Grade 6 £16, 278 – subject to pro rata. Reports to Training Manager Liaises with HR team St. John’s colleagues

This role sits within the HR and Staff Development team and is responsible for undertaking all of the core administrative activities related to the training and development of all staff across St John’s, and to ensure the delivery of an outstanding and compliant training programme.

Main Purpose of the Job
To work with the HR and Staff development team to ensure that an outstanding service is delivered to the organisation. Focussing on Staff Development and Training but picking up and supporting the general HR team as directed.
Learning & Development
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that staff are completing e-Training (including the Care Certificate where appropriate) to deadline. This will require running regular reports from the platform, liaising with staff and managers and escalating where appropriate. Supporting the Training Co-ordinator with all tasks relating to all training events including booking trainers and delegates, organising logistics, inviting delegates, catering and materials and ensuring rooms and equipment are available and booked in. Taking the lead in inviting delegates, creating sign in sheets, rearranging training for attendees who require it , collecting completed sign in sheets, chasing up and even escalating non-attendees for all training events. Responsible for supporting the Training Co coordinator on INSET days, including collating delegates lists, and assisting with room set up and take downs, as well as providing trainers with any additional support that they may need. Conducting research into training courses. Inputting training data onto CIPHR and responsible for keeping training records up to date in a timely manner. Run reports on training undertaken by staff. Support the Training Co-ordinator to continuously improve and implement Induction programme for employees, bank and volunteers joining St John’s. Responsible for keeping training records up to date including mentoring, shadowing and buddies Responsible for ensuring that evaluation forms are distributed and collated. Responsible for safe storage of training equipment Work with the HR team to implement a new performance management system. Report on managers and staff that are not completing APR objectives or meetings and chase. Sending out regular updates to stakeholders to increase awareness of upcoming training in order to minimise the impact on the learners Maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders Responsible for running regular reports in order to ensure that staff are completing required training to deadline. Responsible for producing training reports to double check accuracy and as required. Maintain and develop all training and development processes and procedures as relevant to the role. To promote and update the training calendar on an ongoing basis, as well as keeping boards and spreadsheets up to date with any changes To support the training Coordinator in managing the inboxes and room bookings for the training calendar, hive meeting room and hive training room HR Duties
