Main advert detail

Brighton & Hove is an exceptional, dynamic and exciting city to live and work in. In your role, we want you to feel supported, challenged and rewarded. You will benefit from our flexible working policies, generous leave entitlement, as well as access to the Local Government pension scheme and other staff benefits.

The purpose of the Youth Employability Service is to reduce the number of young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEETS), by supporting them through a range of activities designed to inspire their ambitions, improve their employability and ultimately to secure permanent employment.

In this role you will contact and maintain links with young people aged 16-18 (24 with special needs) who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) via a variety of methods including Facebook and other social media.

Deadline for applications is: 30th October 2018

We welcome applications from all sections of the community but particularly encourage BME, White Other, Female and Trans applicants as these groups are currently under-represented in our workforce.
