An opportunity has arisen within Network My Club, responsible for Events and Membership Account Manager across the company.

Network My Club is fast growing business networking organisation, partnering specifically with professional sports clubs and iconic sporting venues to host regular quality events at world class venues, whilst offering exclusive benefits – all through dedicated member networking groups.

This opportunity gives the ideal candidate the chance to be an integral part of the company’s development, to support that growth, with enormous potential to progress and evolve with the business.

Bags of enthusiasm, career ambition and drive to develop in events and relationship management is essential. An interest in sport is desirable, but by no means essential!

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Events Management

  • Plan, prepare and organise Network My Club events
  • Liaise directly and develop relationship with club/venue
  • Attend Network My Club events, welcoming attendees and being point of contact for venue staff
  • Ensure event details are updated and correct online, across internal and external websites
  • Plan and organise Network My Club’s new annual group-wide showcase events
  • Ensure events are being actively promoted via all channels, both club/venue and Network My Club side
  • Ensuring members places are confirmed for events and contacting guests prior to attending to build rapport
  • Compiling event information to assist with sales and marketing operations

Membership Account Management

  • Manage member and inbound queries
  • Arrange strategic review meetings/calls with members
  • Set up new memberships and manage membership admin
  • Communicate with sales personnel to pass on important information and referrals
  • Liaise with marketing personnel to support further promotion of members
  • Conduct membership renewals
  • Conduct member surveys/feedback
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in event based or account manager roles
  • Strong desire for personal and professional development
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Confident, enthusiastic and career driven
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail with computer literacy

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Existing network of businesses
  • Sales/Business Development experience
  • Public speaking, addressing groups of people
  • Interest in sport

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Membership Network My Club groups increases
  • Renewal rates are maintained/increased
  • Member satisfaction results increase
  • Member referrals increase
  • Number of event attendees increases

Salary: £19,000-£23,000 depending on experience. Potential of £25,000+ OTE with target-based commission structure.

Location: Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex

Report to: Managing Director

Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday (including occasional events outside of these hours)

Holiday: 23 days
