If so, we have a fantastic new opportunity within our C&CI Team for a Green Belt qualified Continuous Improvement Manager - an insurance background is not essential. This role reports into the Head of C&CI and would suit an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager looking for a new challenge in a fast paced, dynamic business on the South Coast.
The Continuous Improvement Manager will share the purpose of the C&CI team to develop a culture to understand, protect and improve our Customer experiences. The successful individual will run transformation projects, change projects and look to improve processes whilst reducing waste and is required to adapt improvement approach through understanding of latest thinking. The Continuous Improvement Manager will also organise and manage teams during the improvement lifecycle, alongside training and coaching individuals with Yellow Belt skills.
Your remit will include the following; Deliver the expected improvements to customer and business through agreed approach, time and within agreed budget/cost Implementation of suitable approach to ensure successful improvements sustain over time Accurate mapping of processes to facilitate improvement activity and governance Facilitate appropriate sign off through each gateway through effective stakeholder/sponsor engagement and management Adherence to Hastings Direct improvement governance model and standards Development of Yellow Belt capabilities across Hastings Direct - including internal and external - to the required/defined level with the CI Vision and Strategy.

Previous experience working in a Continuous Improvement role (an insurance, finance or banking background could be advantageous but not essential) Accredited Six Sigma and/or Lean Green Belt is essential Prince 2 and/or Agile Project Manager certified would be advantageous Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical, facilitation and coaching skills Ability to flex the right Customer centric CI approach for required improvements Personal attributes As a growing business, this role can really help make an impact on both the development and delivery of how our business works - it will be exciting, busy, varied and challenging Natural problem solver who communicates effectively to all stakeholders This is a dynamic, fast paced working environment - candidates should be comfortable working within that setting and demonstrate a proactive working style.
