Adur Community Team (Shoreham and Lancing Area)
We are evolving with our Health Professionals and Local Community Partners to ensure we can deliver care to our community whilst sharing our skills and experience for the patient in the right way, at the right time and in the right place. We have 75 hours available for the role of Healthcare Assistant and would love to hear from anyone who would enjoy the challenge, the camaraderie and the opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge and further their qualifications.
If you are someone who wishes to progress to a band 4 by completing additional training then we will support you achieve your goal.
If you are someone who wishes to work as a Healthcare Assistant but not keen on the academic prospects to develop to a band 4 but wish to be an excellent band 3 with enhanced skills as per Trust expectation then we would love to hear from you.
We are an organisation which encourages and will support continued professional development. We will offer an appropriate induction period and continue to support your learning needs while working with a range of specialist nurses, therapists, social services and mental health workers as well as GPs and local practices.
We are very aware of how busy it is now in the community environment.
We welcome ideas on how to provide health and wellbeing to support staff and as a Trust are very supportive.
