Band 6 Bank Podiatrist
Are you a recently qualified Podiatrist looking to gain further experience or perhaps a clinician who has been in private practice and now looking to develop your skills within an NHS environment?
If so the Sussex Community Foundation NHS Trust is looking for enthusiastic podiatrists to join our bank.
We are looking for bank staff to cover sessions across the whole of West Sussex.
We use bank staff to cover episodes of long term sickness, periods of high demand on the service or clinics which we have re-booked at short notice due to staff absence etc.
We do provide the statutory training (paid) required by the trust and bank staff are welcome to attend the service study days, which is a useful way of adding to your CPD.
Our Podiatry service is a friendly, hardworking, supportive and caring NHS team and we enjoy developing and nurturing all members of staff. We work hard to ensure that we provide the best care possible for our patients.
Successful applicants must have excellent diagnostic and communication skills, be enthusiastic, caring, hardworking and reliable and also have a passion for delivering high standards of care to our patients.
Applicants must be registered with the HCPC and have a degree or equivalent in Podiatry with a Local Anaesthesia certificate.
It is essential that you should be a driver with access to a car for work purposes.
It is important to note that being accepted onto our bank register does not guarantee regular work. Bank staff are used only when the service requires them.
