Our client is looking for female Support Workers to support Sophie aged 25, with her daily tasks, her social and leisure activities and generally helping her to enjoy life. Sophie is an inspiring young lady who has an acquired brain injury. She presents with some mild memory difficulties as well as being mildly physically disabled. She requires 1-to-1 support, including some personal care. At night, Sophie’s care requirements will vary, but typically there will be blocks of 5 or so hours when you are able to sleep. Rates are calculated according to the care required.

You will be joining existing team members to provide high standards of care, support and enablement to ensure Sophie receives the support she requires at home, out in the community and further afield, both day and night. The role will involve working 1:1 with Sophie, aiding where appropriate and working with her to ensure that she can be as independent as possible; using her skills to her optimum, and supporting her continued development. Sophie is due to move to her own home in the foreseeable future so this is an exciting time to be involved in assisting an incredibly motivated individual in blossoming further into adulthood and increased independence.

If you would like to join Sophie’s team, please send your CV, your availability / preferred shifts (days and hours) and complete an application form.

*Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for a female worker to work with our client.

Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
