Background to the post

Following the retirement of the current post holder we are looking for a highly skilled, energetic and committed professional to continue to develop the teaching, learning and assessment of history at Worthing College. As the college seeks to consolidate its ‘best ever’ results and aspires to become an ‘outstanding’ provider, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to influence team developments and build on its strengths.

We are also interested in hearing from applicants who are able to teach other curriculum subjects, i.e. Politics.

Courses offered by the team are amongst the most popular in the college.  The staff work very closely together and the successful applicant would be expected to work as an enthusiastic team member to meet and exceed objectives.
