Remuneration: £55,000-£60,000 + bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Railings & Balustrades will involve:

·Field sales position, selling a high quality manufactured range of railing systems & balustrades

·75% of your time will be focusing on generating specification via architects

·The remaining 25% of your time will be spent selling/dealing with main & sub-contractors, fabricators

·A large portion of your time will be spent generating new business relationship via inbound inquires

·Conducting CPD seminar and attending trade shows where necessary

·In the first year performance will be monitored via quotations not revenue, looking at circa £2m-£3m pipeline moving into year 2

·Focusing on commercially driven project such as universities, colleges, hospitals, airports, office blocks, hotels and libraries

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Railings & Balustrades with:

·Must have a proven track record generating specifications via architects

·Must have experience selling a technical related products for example railings, hand railings, balustrades, balconies (would be open to building envelope experience)

·Ideally with experience selling directly to main contractors & sub-contractors

·Architectural sales experience would be advantageous but is not essential

·Hunger, initiative & drive

·Project led with an ability to think laterally

·Proven track record in field sales

·Technically capable
