Emteq is seeking an experienced and responsible office manager to take control of the day to day running of the office located at the Sussex Innovation Centre in Falmer, and be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks including:

General Office Administration

  • Handle phone calls
  • Arrange team meetings and directors’ calendars
  • Book travel and accommodation
  • Create and manage and share office procedures with the team
  • Minute meetings when needed
  • Keep a clean and tidy office
  • Maintain a register of office equipment

Accounting

  • Manage invoices and receipts
  • Reconcile bank accounts and chase up missing invoices
  • Liaise with suppliers to get credit accounts set up and best deals
  • Maintain access to online subscription accounts
  • Company secretarial work

Personnel

  • On-board new staff members
  • Schedule probation and staff review meetings
  • Ensure employee information is complete and correct
  • Liaise with payroll and pension agencies if required

Marketing

  • Maintain Emteq LinkedIn, Twitter and Blog feeds
  • Proof read marketing documentation
  • Publish new website content provided by others

Although this may seem to be a long and daunting list, with support from the existing team and a little extra effort at the beginning setting up processes, we expect this to be a fulfilling, balanced workload for a full-time employee.
