School for boys aged 9-17 based in Seaford is recruiting for residential support workers to join their existing team in a residential school for boys with EBD and challenging behaviour.

The school focuses on positive learning outcomes and providing the boys with adequate activity provision and stimulus for them to learn and flourish in a positive environment.

You will be working as a support worker and will be expected to support the young people through out the day, including taking part in activities and facilitating homework and individual pursuits.

The job role involves you giving a high level of 1-1 communication and to work as part of a team to ensure that the young people are safe.

The job role comes with excellent training and development oppourtunities and the oppourtunity to work towards the NVQ 3 qualification.

You will have the benefit of favourable working hours, term time only working and every other sunday afternoon with every friday and saturday night off as the children go home on a friday afternoon.

Experience in a residential childrens worker role is essential or experience working with children in any type of setting.
