Volunteering Matters London and South Region
Volunteering Matters is looking for an experienced and dynamic Volunteer Manager to join our Delivery Team in London and the South region. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly across the organisation and demonstrate an understanding and commitment to our values.
Purpose of the Role
The role will involve recruiting and supporting volunteers to take part in the projects and programmes delivered across the London and South Region. It will primarily focus on our Lifelines programme in Brighton, but may also support delivery of our other programmes in the region.
The post-holder will be accountable to the LifeLines Project Manager.
Lifelines
Lifelines programme is an established volunteer-led project delivered in Brighton for over 9 years supporting people aged 50 and over in Brighton. LifeLines deliver activities and one-to-one support schemes to help older people stay more active and better engaged with their communities. Through a range of activities older volunteers experience reduced loneliness and isolation, become more physically active and leave their home more, socialise more making new friendships with people of all ages.
Appointment to this position is subject to an enhanced disclosure check (DBS). Having a conviction will not necessarily cause a bar to employment.
