We are recruiting for a busy and vibrant travel organisation based in Brighton.

My client is looking for a Travel Administrator to provide highly effective customer service and supplier communications to assist the successful delivery of tours and excursions that they sell within the educational and leisure market groups.

Salary: £21,000 + commission

Hours: Weekdays - 9-5

Responsibilities

* Act as a key point of contact with customer from booking through to return of the tour
* Focus on exceptional customer service delivery with client retention utmost in the mind in every customer communication
* Work with the customer to ensure all aspect of the tour programme is booked and organised as required
* Documentation production / Systems updates as necessary to support all the above
* Ensuring financial parameters are met and invoices / credit control is managed effectively
* Act as an ambassador for the company in developing long term supplier relationships
* Reserving excursions, guides and transport in resort for all provisions to ensure we deliver the product sold to the customer base to the highest standards
* Look to resolve difficulties through interaction and positive communications with suppliers
* Build robust relationships that over time will aid the business growth and bring value for money for every £ spent

The ideal candidate with have the following skills and experience

* Experience working within the travel industry
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Good administrative skills and ability to multitask and work under pressure
* Strong financial awareness and attention to detail
* Intermediate level IT skills of Microsoft applications, bespoke CRM systems and experience of use of other software such and Adobe
* Ability to prioritise workload within a busy and diverse role
* Personable character with a 'Can do Approach' to problems
