Physiotherapist, Functional Assessor – Health and Disability Assessments

Location: Lewes

Starting Salary: £38,000 + Comprehensive benefits package

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-time (37.5 hours)

Benefits including HCPC fee reimbursement, revalidation support, private healthcare, matched contribution pension and 25 days of annual leave with option to buy or sell additional leave.

We are working with our client who is a global expert in health and disability, and occupational health assessments. They have asked Merco to support their Physio recruitment nationwide with jobs which enable Physiotherapists to use their medical knowledge and clinical skills in the different area of medical assessment.

Role overview – Registered Physiotherapist – Functional Assessor

*You will meet customers and complete a comprehensive face to face assessment, then type a report which is reviewed by the government to enable an informed decision about benefit entitlement

*Annually reviewed salary with opportunities to develop your portfolio career with a new specialism

*Assessments both in the local assessment centre and community

*Doctors train in a variety of benefits, including complex needs and varied report formats

*Once accredited, following training you will work autonomously with opportunities to progress your career

*Excellent induction and full training academy from day 1 of employment

*Excellent communication skills and word processing are essential for this talking and report writing role

Role requirements

*Full, unconditional registration with the HCPC and a valid licence to practise

*Excellent verbal, word processed and written communication skills

*Eligibility to live and practice medicine in the UK

*Up to date, evidenced CPD portfolio and appraisal
