The role involves:

• Being a key person for a group of children
• Building relationships
• Being an inspiration to the children
• Supporting attachment building
• Ensuring the children feel safe
• Planning activities
• Maintaining records
• Carrying out observations
• Assessing children and supporting growth and development

Term time only, 4 days a week. The candidate should be enthusiastic and able to work as a team member within a friendly independent nursery.

We are looking to recruit a full-time nursery practitioner with a passion for the early years and a nurturing personality which will support our children and their families.

Key areas of responsibilities will include:

• Working as a Key Person with children aged 0 to 5 years within a team of practitioners who are passionate about childcare
• To help create a warm, friendly, and stimulating learning environment that is inclusive to all
• Providing care and learning opportunities following the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Observing and planning appropriately using the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Contributing your own ideas towards our planning and resources

All additional personal training is supported and encouraged.

The successful candidate will receive a full personal induction and a walk and talk through the nursery to put you at ease in your first week, along with your own personal buddy who will be available to support you on a one on one basis during your first few months with us.
