The Southern Division of the company work closely with Surrey & Sussex Local Councils and undertake work on range of different projects, from schools to hospitals, to car parks and public realm projects, with values from anywhere between £1m and £50m. This sector of the company is one of the most successful and has an extensive order book for months and years to come.

About the role:

Our client is seeking additional individuals to expand their commercial team across a range of newly secured projects in the Brighton area. They are currently seeking commercially astute, experienced professionals to commercially support site-based teams in the areas across a variety of healthcare and public sector projects, including a £10m car park, a £20m school and numerous general works on Brighton Hospital. There will be logical, transparent benefits with the development of this role and as the success of the business stream develops.

About the benefits / rewards:

The salary will be dependent on the individuals’ level of experience and is not set in stone. The company offers excellent opportunities and offer a basic salaries of between £30,000 - £80,000 depending on the individuals’ level - plus a generous benefits package. Requirements:

Candidates will ideally have a trade’s background or a degree qualification and have at least 3 years Quantity Surveying experience within a main contractor for a lower level role or up to 10 years’ experience for senior positions. Industry experience will ideally be in the commercial building environment; ideal candidates will have rounded commercial experience having worked in a similar business with experience of working on a range of similar projects. Candidates should be able to demonstrate successful project delivery with the ability to work without support or supervision and a mature attitude to work.
