Teacher of Classics - Permanent contract from September 2019

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join a vibrant and popular Classics Department. The Department offers Latin, Greek and Classical Civilisation to A Level and the ability to teach at least two of these subjects to Oxbridge entrance is essential. The ability to teach Greek would be an advantage.

The Department achieves consistently excellent academic results at GCSE and A Level and makes a significant contribution to the extra-curricular life of the School.  Mayfield is committed to the provision of Classics through the School and the successful candidate will join a well-resourced, supportive and successful Department. This position is ideally suited to an able and ambitious NQT or recent graduate.
