Service for children of all ages with Learning disabilities including autism and aspergers with challenging behaviour is currently recruiting for support workers to join their existing team and assist in providing an excellent care service to the young people.

Based in the quiet rural village of Mayfield in East sussex, close to the towns of Crowborough and Uckfield, the service provides residential and supported living care to young people with all types of learning disability. The service also provides respite care to up to 12 other young people so a very varied role with a fresh challenge every day!

You must be willing and able to be totally committed to the young people, previous experience is essential in a similar setting.

The service is based in a peaceful and rural setting, so you will need to be a car driver to be offered the role, the job role comes with driving responsibility so you must be prepared to drive the young people to and from appointments.

The organisation prides itself in supporting you in your daily practices and will look to put you through an NVQ 3 if you dont already have this qualification.

The salary for the role has recently been increased and is now one of the highest for the area. So please appy asap. Currently going through expansion so looking for staff to start asap.
