Civils Project Manager
Up to £65,000 p/a with package including; generous holiday allowance (buy-back scheme after 12 months), pension, Company bonus scheme (15% annual), healthcare and Company car/allowance.
Brighton
My Client is a Market-leader within the Civil Engineering sector with a +£600m turnover working exclusively on schemes including; Earthworks, Infrastructure Works, Highways, Structures, Water and Rail. With continued success they are actively recruiting for a Civils Project Manager to lead their Operations Team, initially working in Brighton followed by secured schemes in Berkshire, Greater London, Oxfordshire and South Wales.
Reporting into the Project Director, responsibilities include:
Liaising with Client, Subcontractors and Stakeholders.
Checking and reviewing RAMS, Permits to Works and COSHH Assessments.
Overall control of the Project Management Plan.
Carrying out safety inspections and Health & Safety management.
Management of site-teams across the Southern region delivering; earthworks, road improvements, bridges and structures.
Assistance to tender process for additional Civil Engineering schemes.
Coordination of Site Teams and logistically planning.
Providing project cost value and progress against programme.
Developing strong relationships with existing/new Subcontractors and Supply Chain.
Conducting Progress meetings with Clients and Subcontractors.
Promoting and developing internal staff through KPI-lead appraisals and mentoring.
Successful candidates will possess:
SMSTS Accreditation.
CSCS (Black) Card.
Degree in Civil Engineering or (equivalent).
First Aid at Work.
Extensive Civil Engineering project-based experience either from a Main/Regional Contractor background.
IT literacy with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word).
Knowledge of BIM and Microsoft Project (desirable).
