Bluetone is looking for a Part time/Flexible hours book keeper ideally with AAT qualification.

Salary: Up to 26K pro rata for hours worked your roles

Responsibilities:

Tasks

  • Raising of sales invoices as directed
  • Processing customer receipts, correctly allocating receipts against sales invoices. Requesting remittances where necessary
  • Credit control - chasing overdue invoices and liaising with customers to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Posting of commission income and wholesale receipts
  • Processing of purchase invoices, to include deciding nominal coding and ensuring the correct VAT treatment.
  • Allocating supplier invoices against the correct supplier and invoices
  • Processing of all other bank receipts and payments
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards
  • All stock purchased is recorded and accounted for
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring additions and disposals are recorded on the register.
  • Liaise with external accountants to ensure timely management information is produced

HMRC

  • Producing & Submitting VAT returns
  • Liaise with HMRC as required

Payroll

  • Oversee employee pay runs
  • Pay PAYE & NI
  • Make pension contributions
  • Process payroll journal to relevant nominal codes

Personal specification

  • Ideally AAT qualified
  • Previous experience in the telecommunication sector preferred but not essential
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
  • Excel proficient
  • Sage 50 proficient
  • Excellent attention to detail
