I am working with an accountancy firm who provide a comprehensive yet flexible outsourced UK payroll service tailored to each of our client's specific requirements.

They become an integral part of their client's business by moulding a payroll solution to suit different business requirements.

They have an experienced, friendly team, that are large enough to give every client peace of mind that their payroll is looked after correctly and within all HMRC guidelines but small enough to care about each and every client.

This part of their business has taken a turn and therefore, we are now looking for experienced payrollers to join their team. We have two jobs available; one for a trainee candidate who wishes to learn and develop skills and the other an experienced payroller who can take on larger clients without as much support.

The role duties will include…
Managing payroll on a weekly, periodically (4 weekly) and monthly basis.
Assisting with payroll year end
Preparing BACs payments
Handling HMRC and staff queries
Dealing with SSP and SMP payments
Updating Sage payroll/wage journals onto sage accounts
Setting up of new starters
Monthly tax returns and CIS returns
Updating leavers of pension and holidays
Managing all the payroll accounts to ensure all PAYE codes and student loans are up to date.
Ensuring clients are aware of their PAYE liabilities.
Sending email payslips to all clients where necessary.
Maintaining and setting up auto enrolment pension schemes where necessary.

There may be some project work - e.g.. Gender pay gap analysis and auto enrolment analysis
