We currently have an amazing opportunity for a Marketing professional to join our highly successful team as Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing in these busy events led hotels, this position is a key contributor to the hotels' success – responsible for media buying and advertising plans; the implementation of SEO and digital strategy, annual content and cross channel brand plans; event management; optimizing OTA’s; brand merchandising as well as leading, and supporting the marketing executives in both properties.

Ideal candidates will have previous proven Marketing experience for a minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the hospitality or travel industry preferably in a hotel, or similar high quality events led establishment.

  • Ability to ensure plans are flexible to meet changing needs of the business

Your main responsibilities as Marketing Manager will include:

Manage media buying and advertising plans in line with the planned budgets for each property and department, in order to support sales and lead generation across the portfolio

Oversee the Marketing Executives in the creation of the annual content plan, ensuring alignment with overall SEO and digital strategy, and the implementation of a cross-channel brand plan to include social media, blogs, e-comms, press releases and advertorial content

Support the Director of Marketing with the further development and the roll-out the tone of voice and property and people brand projects

Lead on data manipulation and segmentation, plus data collection strategies to ensure robust growing databases for marketing use, as well as compliancy with GDPR

Support the Marketing Executives with the implementation of a regular e-comms plan, including content and promotional planning (working alongside key business stakeholders), building email templates and executing sends (including simple coding)

Oversee event management alongside heads of departments to include conferencing, networking and weddings, attending where necessary and leading on pre-promotion, event presence and supporting the sales team with post event lead conversion

Support the Director of Marketing with online and offline, local, regional and national PR strategies to work alongside the overall marketing strategy. Manage influencer campaigns, stays, reviews, interaction and coverage

Maintain and optimise online travel agents (OTA’s), monitoring large revenue generating streams to ensure high conversion; whilst focusing on encouraging direct business wherever possible

Support the Director of Marketing with a robust PPC strategy, linked to decreasing spend and encouraging organic traffic wins

Oversee company wide print management and branded merchandise production, by delegating, supporting and training each department; and manage the creation and production of brochures and other printed material
