We are looking for an Exchange Programmes Administrator to support Asia UK Schooling to help design and deliver UK-based study trips for international students (mainly from China), and build links with local schools and organisations. We are a growing company and are looking for a self-motivated, organised individual who can help us to continue to provide high quality services to our groups before and during their visits to the UK.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Liaise with local schools and organisations about cultural exchange and language learning trips in the UK
- Research ideas and help to create schedules for exchange projects according to student requirements
- Attend meetings with schools
- Respond to and follow up enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits
- Maintain and develop records and administrative systems, including confidential information
- Other administrative duties as required
This role will be for 14-21 hours per week in term time, with an increase to full-time hours in summer.
Please note candidates must be fully available throughout the summer period of July and beginning of August.
Candidate Skills and Qualities:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and in person
- Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues
- Self-motivated, able to manage own workload and work to tight deadlines
- Comfortable dealing with a range of different stakeholders
- Flexible approach to work
- Proficiency in Google Docs
- Knowledge of Mandarin would be an advantage
Candidate Experience:
- Experience in an international work environment
- Experience working independently on projects
