HE Curriculum Manager for Creative Industries (Art, Media & Design) Computing and Business
Full-Time 37 hours per week, based at the West Durrington and Brighton Central Campus.
The Higher Education department wishes to recruit an experienced arts educator who can provide high quality leadership for Art, Media and Design Foundation and Batchelor Degrees, with a small provision of Computing and Business Higher National Courses and PGCE provision.
The successful applicant will have some management experience, ideally gained in HE in FE as well as excellent subject knowledge of the creative sector. The successful applicant should have a high level of subject knowledge and experience of delivering at least one of the subject specialisms, art, media or design. The teaching requirement associated with this Curriculum Manager post will vary year on year. Applicants should hold an academic qualification to at least degree level preferably post graduate and a full, recognised teaching qualification.
Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience. The MET offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for 16 year olds leaving school, university degrees, full and part time courses for adults, apprenticeships and professional qualifications. The MET operates across five campuses in Brighton, Shoreham and Worthing and teaches around 3,500 16-18 year olds, 7,500 adult learners, 1,000 undergraduates and 800 apprentices.
