Site Labourer

Rate: £10.50 per hour

Catch 22 are looking for Site Labourers for a 6 month project in the Gatwick Airport region.

The role requires general labouring in support of a team of specialist Refrigeration and Cold Room Installation Engineers and it would be great experience of anyone looking at entry into the Refrigeration, Catering Equipment, Air Conditioning or general Building Services sector.

Our client is a reputable and ever growing Refrigeration Contractor. They have an existing team of installation engineers who can provide direction and guidance on site.

We need additional labour to help support the engineering activities – expect plenty of site cleaning, equipment lifting and shifting, assistance with wiring and control system installation and some sealing (silicon) work to ensure a first class installation project on Refrigeration and Cold Storage facilities.

The working conditions are yet to be determined but we expect day shifts of 8-10 hours with some potential overtime, Monday to Friday, for approx. 4 to 6 months.

The hourly rate is £10.50 per hour plus holiday entitlement (equivalent to 28 days inc stats). Weekends are paid at time and a half. 

We require labourers with previous site experience, an understanding of site health and safety regulations, a CSCS Card and the ability to get to the site in Gatwick with reasonable ease.
