**Short term contract for May, June & July with potential of permanent position**

Dv8 Sussex delivers creative vocational courses at Level 1, 2 and 3 to young people aged 16 - 18 in Media, Music, Art, Fashion, Games and Event Management. Our courses are delivered in small classes, with practical, industry-led project briefs to guide the learning and curriculum. We are driven by strong shared values around supporting young people to be successful in work and life and can regularly celebrate the positive impact our courses have had on a young person. We are looking for someone who can share our values and make a significant contribution to the next stage of the college’s development.

As Dv8 continues to grow this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join the company and be responsible for implementing the recruitment processes overseen by the Marketing & Recruitment Manager.

Key Duties

Recruitment

  • Supporting with administration process - contacting applicants, arranging interview dates, sending all relevant communication, liaising with Course Leads and Learning Support teams
  • Supporting with moving on day / enrolment and administration for students joining Dv8 in September 2019
  • Liaise with external agencies promoting courses for September 2019

Marketing support

  • Supporting with social media campaigns
  • Composing and sending out email campaigns
  • Updating website
  • Attending Dv8 open evenings
  • Documenting events and guest speakers

Person specification

Essential Criteria

  • Some relevant marketing experience at assistant level
  • Ability to communicate effectively with young people and staff
  • Possess excellent presentation skills
  • Possess Excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Adaptable to flexible working hours during busy periods
  • Possess Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work well independently and meet deadlines
  • Organised
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Willingness to develop own professional capacity and evaluate practice

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience of working with young people in an education or youth work setting
  • Experience of working in admissions / recruitment / marketing
  • Own car and driving licence
