St Barnabas House, Worthing

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care, day hospice and community care.

St Barnabas House has recently undertaken a review of our community nursing service which identified the need to invest in and reconfigure the existing service. This will involve establishing new caseloads, new geographical boundaries, and the development of key performance indicators.  This post will report directly to the Clinical Director.

As an individual who will engage in the development and implementation of the restructured service, you will be working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally to take this crucial project forward.

For an informal discussion, please contact Cathy Stone, Clinical Director on: 01903 706300

Interview Date: 2nd May 2019

Benefits included:

  • Enrolment onto our company pension scheme or the option to continue in the NHS pension scheme
  • Up to 35 days’ annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
  • Free parking
  • On-site education support
  • Option to join Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Corporate Rate Gym Membership

An enhanced DBS will be sought if you are successful in this role. The safe recruitment of staff at St Barnabas Hospices is the first step to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults in our care. As an employer we expect all staff and volunteers to share our commitment to safeguarding.
