Mercury Hampton is exclusively retained on this vacancy. Our client is a world leading manufacturer of mechanical engineering components, sealing technology and rotating equipment. They sell into numerous industrial sectors including power, oil and gas, food, process, defense, pharmaceutical and chemicals. This established brand is now looking to build a world class commercial team and they are looking to recruit a professional, dynamic and polished Account Manager to develop and enhance their major industrial customers. You will be commercially savvy and have a proven track record of selling in to industrial markets, you will be able to sell the features and benefits of technical bespoke engineering products.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing brand who are considered market leaders within their field. This will be a home based role with total flexibility to plan and manage your working day as you see fit. You will be building high level relationships from key customers with a view to cross selling, upselling and enhancing turnover and commitment from major industrial, process and manufacturing customers. Working for a British manufacturer you will work very closely with industrial and manufacturing customers in order to deliver outstanding bespoke critical engineering solutions.

Candidates; we are looking for ambitious commercially savvy candidates who enjoy having full control over their working day, able to self-manage and enjoy working in a mature environment. Although you will be supported by the National Sales Manager we expect the successful candidate to be a self-starter, motivated and eager learn new skills with experience of industrial / engineering sales.

You will have a professional, modern and innovative approach to customer management, retention and have a proven track record of selling engineering products, services and or components and client growth and development. You will have a high intellect and strong educational background [engineering, technical or business related], my client wants to recruit the Managers and Directors for the future.
