Our prestigious client based in Crawley requires an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Suitable candidates will have the following skills / experience / attributes:

* Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent)

* Experienced in design Software (AutoCAD, 3D: Inventor, Solid Works, Catia or equivalents)

* Experienced in Mechanical design within an industrial / manufacturing environment or similar

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

The role will involve:

1. Mechanical design for the integration of a full range of equipment and other products, using CAD programmes.

2. Compiling parts lists and maintaining drawing records following the strict technical office procedures without deviation.

3. To offer a practical approach – working with our team of assembly and test technicians as required.

4. Visits to customers’ sites both in the UK and overseas as necessary to gain engineering information.

5. Liaising with customers to ensure adequate flow of information for orders acknowledged, service requirements related to problems, and any other issues as requested.

Salary is £45-48k pa dependent upon skills and experience plus company benefits
