Job Role: Mobile HGV Mechanic

Location: Horsham - Covering East and West Sussex

Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent

Annual Earnings: Up to £40,300 depending on experience

My client, a well established specialist repairer of Heavy Commercial Vehicles is actively seeking to employ a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic to work on a mobile basis covering a number of contracts across East and West Sussex and the surrounding area's.

Working from a fully equipped van, the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance. General duties include correction of running defects, diagnostics, full vehicle overhauls, MOT preparation.

Essential Requirements:

The successful HGV Mechanic will have have a strong background in commercial vehicle servicing and repair. The successful applicant will also have full industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level Three)

Desirable requirements:

Previous experience as a Mobile HGV Mechanic, qualifications in electronics and hydraulics, qualifications in chassis repair and maintenance, a current Commercial driving licence (Class 1 or 2).

The hours of work for this exciting HGV Mechanic role will be 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. Overtime will be consistently available, you will also be paid for your daily commute from your home to the site of work.

The basic salary on offer for this exciting role will be up to £40,300 depending on your levels of experience.
