Software Project Manager required to join growing company looking to develop new products for established software house. This role would suit an experienced Software Project Manager with a track record of delivering software projects on time balancing projects and quality, or a Junior Project Manager with 1 to 2 years commercial experience who is looking to develop their career. For this software Project Manager role candidates should have the following skills – - Understanding or experience of the Software Development Lifecycle or a Software Engineering background. - Excellent communication and client facing skills and experience - Experience managing project budgets and reporting progress and risks - Experience of Waterfall and Agile software development environments This Software Project Manager role will be working with clients in the defence, local government and geospatial sectors so any knowledge in those areas would be an advantage. You should have a familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and BitBucket, as well as expertise MS Project and Office. Candidates with APM-P or Scrum Master certification would also be of interest. This Software Project Manager role is based in Horsham, commutable from West Sussex, and part of south west London. There will be some travel to client sites around the UK, but the expectation is that you will be office based and home each night the majority of the time.
