Electrical Draughtsman

Leading worldwide technology developer of Electro-mechanical equipment for the transport industry are looking for a number of staff for their growing R&D Team.

An Electrical Draughtsman is needed to join their team to work with the development of new products for international markets.

This is a varied role, working within a multi-discipline team of Electronics, Mechanical, Software, and Project Managers supplying complex and stable products. You will be working on a number of projects at any one time. You will design new, and improve existing cable assemblies for products with a view to varying international standards and customer requirements. Your work can be part of a larger project or wholly owned within your discipline and close liaison with Production and on occasion with customers will allow you to develop your role.

You will have AutoCAD or similar CAD package experience and ideally have worked on cable assemblies or routing drawings.

Our client is looking for an individual that will fit into their team. As such qualification and experience levels are to some degree negotiable. You may be a recent Graduate looking for an opportunity to train and develop. Alternatively, anyone with electrical experience - building and developing cable assemblies and some experience draughting in this environment will be well received. If you have real world experience in this then C&G or ONC/HNC qualifications are suitable.

A competitive salary and benefits package is offered for this role. A salary c£22,000 - £32,000 + bonus + benefits + pension is on offer
