An opportunity has arisen for an experienced front of house receptionist to join the established Urgent Treatment Centre Reception/admin Team in Crawley Hospital. The service provides urgent and unscheduled care 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week with a fully integrated ambulatory primary care service for the Crawley population and surrounding communities between the hours 08.00-20.00 7 days a week. There are also a number of other services collocated in the unit including the out of hours service and allied GP services.

The current vacancy is for 37.5 hours per week. The candidate will be required to work flexibly around the units opening hours and the requirements of the service which involves shift working over a 7 day period, including late shift finishes (11.30pm).

You will be required to answer phones, greet patients and others, make appointments, arrange referrals, assist with computerised medical records, and other duties. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working to promote patient centered care. You will need to demonstrate good communication skills, be enthusiastic and energetic and have proven interpersonal skills. Excellent IT skills and previous front of house/reception is essential.
