Manpower is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner on behalf of our client, based in Chichester. This position is to start ASAP, working full time hours on a temporary assignment.

You will work with the business to ensure that it has the appropriate capacity, capability and engagement levels for the short, medium and long term horizons and creates an engaging work environment, drive HR and Organisational Change programmes and initiatives and support the delivery of talent management, succession and high performance and potential strategies and processes.

You will deliver consultation with Trade Unions, as necessary, support the day-to-day operational delivery of People Plans and activities, support directorates with resourcing requirements, interviews, etc and comprehensive customer focused advice on HR, Organisational Change and Employee Relations matters within Directorates.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide comprehensive advice, interpretation and guidance on employment matters and HR policies, practices and processes to the business, escalating more complex issues to senior colleagues or specialist teams as appropriate.

You should have a good understanding of managing employee relations policies and procedures, performance management issues, conflict resolution etc and experience of engaging managers in development of talent and capability

Business Partner experience not essential we require someone who has managed ER cases in a local authority or similar unionised environment and/or who has a good handle on reorganisations/redundancies.
