Our client is currently looking to recruit a Supported Internship Co-ordinator at an exciting time as they embark upon our next phase of ambitious growth. Working on a full time, permanent basis, in return you will receive a competitive salary of £23,392 - £27,221 per annum.

Our client were one of the original pilot colleges in 2012 involved in the supported internship programme and are therefore regarded as being at the leading edge of the provision.

The Supported Internship Co-Ordinator Role:

- Co-ordinate the effective delivery of the Supported Internship project across all our college sites

- Work closely with students, employers and families to ensure each student develops meaningful work placement experiences.

- Co-Ordinator will also support and mentor our job coaches.

The role provides an opportunity to make a significant difference to the students’ future prospects and employability.

Experience and knowledge of a Supported Internship Co-Ordinator:

- Ability to demonstrate a passion for working with students with learning needs and/or disabilities.

- A sound understanding of SEN and learning support are pre-requisites as is evidence of managing groups of learners.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills will be required to develop relationships with employers.

The post-holder will be required to travel to employers’ premises so a current driving licence and car owner is essential.
