Technical Sales Engineer
Brighton, £25,000 - £30,000
Our client, a leader in distribution and manufacturing, are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Technical Sales Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Finding new customers who may benefit from our client’s products and services, maximising customer potential
* Developing and retaining relationships with existing customers
* Negotiating and closing sales
* Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
* Recording and maintaining customer contact data
* Meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Attending trade shows, seminars and other relevant events
* Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product would meet a customer’s needs
* Coordinating sales projects by liaising with other members of the sales team
Requirements:
* A solid technical background
* Good business sense, able use initiative
* Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
* Vital you can work in a team
* The ability to easily build and retain customer relationships
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Resilience and tenacity
* A full driving licence
