The ideal candidate will be able to drive and have their own transport due to the location and have some experience in the care industry.

You will be supporting the clients to be independent in the home and the community, we aim to provide young people with a therapeutic environment where they will be provided with high levels of support and guidance to keep them safe, offer them stability and help them learn and develop the necessary skills to enable them a smooth and successful transition to independence and adulthood.

Tasks will include:

• Assisting young adults with a range of activities, including arrange doctors or hospital appointments, shopping
• Assisting with sporting activity
• Helping to complete applications forms for education and jobs giving advice and guidance
• Assisting with employability and work-related skills organising voluntary placements
• Helping with day to day hygiene and personal issues and resolving problems that may occur with diplomacy
• Working together with the clients to give real purpose focusing on their brightest future

• Basic literary and numeracy skills
• Clean driving license preferable but not essential

Good GCSE results (A-C / 4 above or equivalent) are desirable.

After successful completion of the apprenticeship a full time position could be possible.
