Are you looking to work for a growing and successful company in a brand new position in a brand new purpose built building? Are you highly professional with facilities experience and happy to deal with people at all levels?

I am recruiting for a Facilities Assistant for a company based in Shoreham. Reporting to both HR and the Director's EA, your role will be as first point of contact for the company in their brand new, modern offices. You will also be managing the company's fleet of vehicles.

Key duties:

  • Responsible for actively promoting a strong Health & Safety culture by enforcing all relevant legislation, including health and safety, site licence, fire and employment laws
  • Facilities management ? dealing with all office related issues including general maintenance, electrical, stationary control.
  • Managing the company vehicles including maintenance, insurance, leasing and vehicle records
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules to ensure the building and outside areas are maintained to a high standard. You will be required to respond to daily maintenance requests ensuring they are resolved and added to the schedule.
  • Dealing with any fleet queries within the company
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers when necessary
  • Reception desk cover when required - meeting all visitors to the building and ensuring they are directed to the right place / department
  • Managing all post and deliveries, both incoming and outgoing
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
