Community Nursing Practice Development Nurses - Full / Part time. Band 7

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for transforming our community nursing service. The successful applicant will work within Central ( Crawley/ Horsham Mid Sussex) areas of Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust and work with the Community Nursing review project group, practice development nurses and 21 clinical teams to deliver the principles of Right People, Right Skills, Right Place, and Right Time.

These posts have been developed to provide support and expertise to community nursing teams whilst implementing and transforming the way we work. The post holders will build on the success of the Core Skills training in SCFT and help to standardise its use across the Trust; engaging with all staff, challenging and developing clinical staff and working closely with the community nursing project team and corporate practice development. The successful applicants will have extensive experience in community nursing and will bring innovation and influence to the project.

We are looking for candidates with specialist knowledge, who demonstrate strong clinical, leadership and communication skills, is innovative and flexible, and committed to evidence based working.

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is the main provider of NHS community health services across Brighton and Hove, West Sussex and part of East Sussex.
