Financial Accountant
We are seeking a committed professional to join a team in Bognor Regis in the role of Financial Accountant.

About You
* Ideally you will be studying for a formal accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or be prepared to consider this
* It is desirable for you to hold 3 years’ experience in Accounts, however this is not essential
* Naturally inquisitive with the ability to turn data in to insight
* An analytical mind
* Able to work with both finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels
* Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
* Confident in offering proposals and options for improvements
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced complex environment
* Good communication skills – both written and verbal
* A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
* Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
Responsibilities of the role
* Examine and analyse financial information
* Ensure P&L is up to date and accurate on a weekly basis
* Provide information of accruals/prepayments/stock where necessary
* Present solutions to financial issues/systems and improvements to processes
* Support business profitability and growth through findings and recommendations
* Create and produce KPI and other financial reports
* Monitor and control expenditure
* Effectively communicate and engage our leadership team
* Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting
* Liaise with internal auditors
* Respond to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
* Support, lead and coach a team
* Support Business Partners with projects
