Childrens Deputy Manager

There is an incredible opportunity for you as an to develop as a children's deputy manager and join a fantastic team in our 4 bed children's home.
Our home is part of a national network and as the deputy manager you'll report directly to the Registered Manager, you'll have a huge part to play in the smooth and safe running of the home, as well as making sure that the children are given the best level of care possible. The home is exactly that, a home; it's a service that's run in a very relaxed`family feel` environment, it's the best way for our children to blossom.
You'll be responsible for developing the children daily, we want our service users to grow and develop their sense of confidence, worth and self-esteem; you`ll be a good listener, taking on board what they say without them feeling judged and encouraging them to grow as people. As well as developing the children, you'll also be responsible for looking after staff, developing them so we can maintain the 'Good' Ofsted rating and improve it in the future! You'll be motivated, good at communicating and determined to set a great example, the best leaders always do! Of course, you know how to write a care plan, rotas, payroll and budgeting experience.
You will have your Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People. 2 years experience of Ofsted inspections would also be ideal. If you're looking to take the next step in care career this is the place for you!
Salary & contract:
£23,000 - £30,000
