Accounts assistant required with experience of sales & purchase ledgers, payroll and general data input for a small seafront hotel in Brighton.
Knowledge of Sage Line 50 would be an advantage, along with Excel. Please include your salary expectations in the covering letter.

Duties include all Sales and Purchase Ledger tasks:
- daily revenue analysis & revenue journals
- PDQ Recon
- sales ledger – tasks / websites upload / credit control
- control and processing supplier invoices / supplier queries / statement recon
- monthly BACS payment run
- petty cash processing
- purchase orders – overseeing cost control system/nominal costs
- reporting food and beverage stock takes
- payroll processing
- bank reconciliation
- balance sheet reconciliation
- any other accounts related ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate would be:
- Studying AAT Level 2
- good IT skills including advance Excel plus some Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll knowledge
- looking for someone who is ambitious and motivated
- Team Player
- Paying great attention to detail
