Team Overview

The BD team work with internal stakeholders and external consultants and clients to support the preparation and submission of tenders including expressions of interest and proposals.  These can range from discrete, strategic proposals to complex consortiums.  BD work with consultants to co-ordinate the bid process, develop budget proposals and ensuring that all QA processes are adhered to


The Role

This is a key role in a very busy team where deadlines are often set externally.  The main deliverables are to co-ordinate the bidding process, preparing all relevant internal and external documentation and liaising with external consultants to ensure their CVs are up to date and accurate.   Final submission of documents on time and in line with client stipulations is essential as is engaging with clients to seek further information or clarity on bid requirements.


The Candidate

You will have solid academic background with strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrated in a similar client facing environment.   Your ability to manage your time and, more importantly flag issues and queries to the wider team is essential.  This role works within the Business Development Team for four days per week and within the Business Operations Pool one day per week.  What this means is the opportunity to work across the business providing high level administrative support where needed.

The salary for this role is up to £25K depending on your skills and experience.  In addition, we also offer a comprehensive learning and development programme, 24 days holiday plus additional time off over Christmas, matched company pension up to 5%, and a discretionary bonus.  Other benefits include Cycle to Work scheme, eyecare vouchers, weekly fruit and subsidised yoga classes in our offices.
