Background and Objectives

American Express’s Global Product Management team are looking for an exceptional product manager to support the delivery of a new cross border payments platform across 12 key markets. The role will have full responsibility for the defining features for development and for taking those features to market.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders around the business to define and prioritise backlog of features
  • Validate features by obtaining real customer feedback
  • Devise and deliver go-to-market plans for new products and new capabilities
  • Compile and create management reports for presentation to key stakeholders

Required skills:

  • Experience in a product management, product development or marketing function
  • Prior experience in a project driven environment, preferably with AGILE development experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, look-ups, formulae)
  • Advanced Excel skills an advantage (VBA, Macros)
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage own time and work independently
  • Ability to manage competing demands on time
  • Knowledge of B2B payments and working capital optimisation an advantage
  • Knowledge of GPM or GPD&O processes and frameworks an advantage
  • Knowledge of the B2B sales processes an advantage
