Billing Administrator
Global 4 Communications is seeking an experienced Billing Administrator.
Basic Salary £20,000 - £25,000, depending on experience.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm .
Location Horsham, West Sussex.
We are currently recruiting for a Billing Administrator to join our accounts department at Global 4.
The Billing Administrator is responsible for supporting the Billing Manager in the day to day operations of the Billing team. This position will offer the opportunity for the right person to gain Billing Administration experience within a growing area of the business.
Areas of the Billing Administrator’s responsibilities will include but are not restricted to:
• Ensuring the accuracy and maintaining of customers’ accounts, both residential and business.
• Dealing efficiently with any customer queries regarding their accounts.
• Raising charges and credits to accounts.
• Calculating any refunds that are due to customers.
• Dealing with customers both on the telephone and by email.
• Reviewing and reconciliation reports, ensuring that the customers’ bills are accurate.
• Tracking all queries and ensuring that they are accurately recorded against the customers’ account.
• Close liaising with the Credit Control department and liaising with external suppliers regarding charges.

Billing Administrator Criteria
• Prior experience of working in an accounts department.
• Strong customer focus.
• Comfortable in using Microsoft Excel and willing to learn in becoming an intermediate user.
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
• To be able to prioritise work and to be able to work on their own initiative.
• Strong team ethic.
• Adaptable: able and willing to use the companies billing platform and other software.
• Highly analytical in approach to the work undertaken.
Desirable knowledge and experience:
• Experience working as a Sales Ledger Clerk, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Credit Controller or Billing Administrator
• Experience working for a Telecommunications or Managed Service Provider
• Experience using Sage
