Account Manager
Account Manager required for our client, a leading smart home provider based on the South Coast. They opened their doors in 2005 and have been expanding year on year since that day. They are currently recruiting for an experienced account manager to join their growing team to assist with the managing and support of some of their most key accounts.
You will be building strong customer relationships to ensure the client uses this company as their supplier of choice and ensure these relationships are constantly managed to ensure repeat business.
Account Manager Position Overview
Some of your duties will include;
* Ensure the customer journey is delivered so that the customer is satisfied with our customer service levels
* Manage customer expectations around delivery, lead times and logistical updates as required
* Raise quotes, create new orders, proforma invoicing
* Identify new opportunities from customer base
* Promote and secure bookings for training courses
* Report on sales pipeline to enable revenue forecasting
* Report on orders and their status to enable accurate forecasting in the month
* Diligent follow up of targeted e marketing campaigns, and events
* Make outbound retention calls
* Build close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through regular communication
* Ensure field sales are equipped with appropriate samples for customer visits
* Processing and dispatching orders ensuring the warehouse has sufficient information to dispatch.
* Take customer payments

* Customer first attitude supporting customers to promote loyalty
* Technical knowledge sufficient to act with authority to support customers
* Clear communicator to manage customer expectations
* Be a team player forging strong relationships through regular and clear communication both internally and externally
* Be adaptable able to change to suit the customers’ needs
* Flexible
* Emotional maturity and resilience
* Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and other specified customers offering a seamless customer journey from proposal to customer support and logistics.
* Display a high level of operating and organisational skills.
Account Manager Position Remuneration
* £25,000 – £26,000
* Circa £10,000 in commission
* Pension
* Holiday + bank holidays
* Full package discussed at interview
