Vacancy: Electrical Engineer - Shift Pattern no weekends

Location: Eastbourne

Duration: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Salary/Rate: £37,000 - £40,000 + overtime

Randstad CPE is currently working on behalf of an M&E company in the Eastbourne region who are looking to recruit an Electrical Shift Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. The role will involve working within a pharmaceutical manufacturing factory and you will be working as part of a team. Whilst employed by this company, you will be expected to carry out Electrical Shift Engineer works in an efficient and professional manner. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

* Carry out fault identification/rectification and escalation when required on electrical systems

* PPM’s

* To co-ordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical aspects of the PPM schedules

* Surveying and accepting new works carried out by specialist sub-contractors

* Electrical fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site.

* Repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems

* Carry out technical surveys

* Have previous experience of working as an Electrical Shift Engineer

* Hardworking and able to work on your own initiative

* Have good basic knowledge of Electrical skills with a minimum of City and Guilds (or NVQ) at Level 3 within Electrical Installations

* Ability to respond quickly and effectively to client requirements
