Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide support to customers reporting incidents across all types of business lines, traditional business telephone systems and cloud-based solutions
  • Display high level of customer service skills whilst diagnosing faults and reported incidents across multiple technologies
  • Effectively use the service providers portals to report, log and investigate reported faults
  • Maintain and keep up to date throughout the process the companies in house CRM system
  • Set expectations with customer on service provider SLA's
  • Keep customer up to date with progress of reported faults throughout the life cycle of reported incident
  • Meet personal KPI and positively contribute to set team targets
  • Out of hours/on-call cover as part of a team rota

Skills Required

  • Customer service focussed with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to follow process and build a positive rapport with customers
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and maintaining clear and accurate task and customer data
  • Working experience of business line types including; Analogue, ISDN and SIP
  • Knowledge of Internet services including; DSL, Fibre, Leased line/Data products
  • Desired knowledge of Broadband hardware and Wi-Fi solutions
  • Desired knowledge of business telephone systems including hosted/cloud-based solutions
