HE Curriculum Manager for Creative Industries (Music and Theatre)

Full-Time 37 hours per week, based at the West Durrington Campus.

The Higher Education Creative Industries department wishes to recruit an experienced art educator who can provide high-quality leadership for Music and Theatre Arts Higher Education Courses

The successful applicant will have some management experience, ideally gained in HE in FE as well as excellent subject knowledge of the creative sector. The successful applicant should have a high level of subject knowledge and experience of delivering either Theatre Arts or Music. The teaching requirement associated with this Curriculum Manager post will vary year on year. Applicants should hold an academic qualification to at least degree level preferably post graduate and a full, recognised teaching qualification. 

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience. The MET offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for 16-year-olds leaving school, university degrees, full and part-time courses for adults, apprenticeships and professional qualifications. The MET operates across five campuses in Brighton, Shoreham and Worthing and teaches around 3,500 16-18 year olds, 7,500 adult learners, 1,000 undergraduates and 800 apprentices.
