Job Details
We wish to recruit a part-time Student Welfare Coordinator. The successful candidate will work within the Student Advice and Support Team, providing welfare support to a caseload of students and leading on the delivery of the Wellbeing calendar. They will also be a member of the Safeguarding Team.
There is an opportunity for this role to be worked alongside the Children Looked After (CLA) Co-ordinator which we are currently advertising.
Background to the post
This post arises from the re-structuring of service teams at the college as part of the merger of Worthing College with Chichester College Group. It is a new post which responds to the growing demand for welfare and safeguarding support for Worthing College students.

£21,475 to £23,514 per annum, (Pro rata salary £9,457 to £10,355)
18.5 hours per week, term-time only plus 1 week and will commence on 2 September 2019. Ideally we would like the applicant to work their hours over 4 short days but 3 days is acceptable. The post holder will be required to work three days before the start of the Autumn term, annually as part of the additional week. This means you would be required to work from the 28 August 2019 for the 2019/20 Academic Year. This is a permanent post.
